| We have successfully organised and hosted a Reception/Meeting in Honour of his excellency - the Prime Minister of Czech Republic, Mr. Milos Zemann and also the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Mr.Anerood jugnath during their respective visits to Mumbai this year, besides other dignitaries. AIAI organises seminars, training programs, workshops and discussions withe minent personalities with foreign dignitaries, ministeries and govt. authorities foir the benefit of its members."The Global India Conference on Trade and Investment" is held every two years in succession.The annual conference is a major event.It has been addressed by the Prime Minister, Finance Ministers and other Union Ministers, Governorsand Chief Ministers of various ministers of various states and other internnational dignitaries. The main objective of the conference is to focus on economic reforms successfully implemented by India abd challenging changes in International trade Arena. Some of the other Seminars organised by AIAI include: * Seminar on Capital Market Reforms inaugrated by Sri Yashwaant Sinha, Former Hon''''ble inister of Finance(Now Minister of External Affairs). The next Seminar on Emerging Capital Market Scenario -Investors confidence is being held in May 2003 with mr. G.N. Bajpai, Mr. P.P. Vora, Mr. M. Damodaran, Mr. V.R. Bhansali * Seminar on Eco. reforms addressed by Dr. Bilmal Jalan, Governor RBI and Dr. D.R. Mehta , Chairman SEBI. * Seminar on Power sector reforms inaugrated by Mr. Rangarajan Kumarmanalam * Meeting with Vice President of India- Sri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat * Meeting with Mr. P. Chidambaram on "Implications of Union Budget" |
