OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
The Development objective of the project is to contribute to building greater competitiveness and poverty alleviation by facilitating sustainable
industrial development in India. This will be attained by building the capacity of the small-scale units to upgrade and be globally competitive.
The Immediate objective is to develop a cadre of BDS consultants who would specialise in providing export related services to the SME clusters and help small enterprises to strengthen their overall competitiveness.
The target beneficiaries of the project are:
X Small and medium enterprises (existing and newly established) in select industrial clusters internationally competitive.
X A new breed of BDS providers ¡V strategic consultants in the industrial clusters
