| Gurgaon Chamber of Commerce & Industry was formed about two decade ago. The Chamber is registered under Societies Act and is functional representative service organization. All the affairs of the Chamber are managed by its Managing Committee which is elected every year by the members. The Chamber serves Gurgaon,Udyog Vihar,Sohna,Roz-Ka-Meo,Dharuhera and Pataudi Industrial belts. The GCCI, is presently represented formally in a number of several committies & councils etc. constituted by the State or Central Government.Important among these are:- 1.Task Force Constituted by the Haryana Government 2.Regional Advisory Committee(Small Scale Sector) Central Excise Commissionerate,Delhi 3.Bureau of Indian Standards 4.State Level Committee Constituted by Labour & Employment Department on Simplifications of rules & procedures under Labour Laws & Factory Act 5.District Level Consulative Committee on HSEB. 6.District Level Grievance Committee on Pollution Control matters. 7.Industrial Relations Committee-PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry. 8.Standing committee constituted by HUDA and Town and Country Planning department, Haryana |
