One of the most critical challenges faced by companies today is that of spotting the right talent from an almost infinite choice range. Similarly, we often find bright youngsters caught in a web of diverse career options, unable to decide, which path to tread on. In vocational / career guidance or in organizations where an attempt needs to be made to classify and optimally place individuals, it is very helpful to have knowledge of the person''''''''''''''''s particular abilities. Such tests of potentiality are also known as aptitude tests. Inability to identify strengths and weaknesses of individuals, can lead to dissatisfied employees, unable to cope with the stresses of an ever-changing global environment. Keeping this perspective in mind the IIA has begun providing special services of conducting a variety of psychometric tests, assessment centre exercises, etc to aid individuals and organizations to improve their selection/ recruitment/promotion processes. Based on the outcome of these tests, developmental/reorientation programmes are also organized by IIA for individuals as well as employees of organizations.
