Made-in-Madurai 9 – 13th July, 2003 – Tamukkam – Madurai. "Made in Madurai" was formed out of our own Vision of "Industrialize Madurai". In order to achieve this, we have engaged in various activities at different levels and at various forums. One among the activity is conducting of an exhibition exclusively for the products manufactured in and around Madurai by the name and style of "Made-in-Madurai". The first exhibition was conducted in 2001. In that maiden attempt, the event was able to pull lot of crowd and also left a very positive public opinion. The media coverage for that event was more than expected. As per the feed back we received, it was decided to repeat that exhibition once in 2 years. Accordingly, we have planned to conduct the 2nd exhibition in July 2003 at Tamukkam Ground. The focus of this exhibition will be to project Madurai as potential city for Promoting Industries with the following infrastructure available: 1.Environmental friendly industries. (Compared to Chennai & Coimbatore , Madurai is free from pollution) 2.Better Work Culture of Madurai (No industrial dispute or unrest for the past 6-7 years) 3.A city of Rubber – Rubber Auto Components. (More than Rs.700 crores turnover in Rubber Industry) 4.Possibility of reviving the position of Madurai in Textile Industrial Map of India. 5.Abundant availability of educated, trained labour force (10 Engineering Colleges, 10 Polytechnics, 5 Management Institutes, 2 Community Colleges, 4 Catering Technology Institute producing more than 20,000 strong work force.) Ideal Home Exhibition 6-16 February ’04, Tamukkam – Madurai The Ideal Home Exhibition is being organized every year for the past 19 years. This exhibition have become a festival feature of each year emulating MADITSSIA‘s success. In fact, MADITSSIA provides its expertise of exhibition management for conducting such HOME EXHIBITIONS in other cities. The 20th Ideal Home Exhibition Features: ·300 Stalls ·Theme Bay ·Cultural Programme ·Daily Prize & Bumper Prize ·6 Lakh visitors Print –n- Pack 2004 8th to 12th December 2004 – Tamukkam – Madurai In developing countries like India Print Industry plays significant role. To fulfil the needs of communication, education and other spheres, the country has kept abreast of changes in technology and has escalated in the ladder. It offers tremendous possibility in keeping pace with the developments in communication brought by the electronic and information technology. The packaging technology is being developed to meet the challenges of hygienic, eco-friendly, cost effective and high quality packaging which has an expanding market in the present scenario of globalization. To meet the qualitative and cost effective competition for survival the entrepreneurs have to upgrade the technology. MADITSSIA’S mission is to serve the entrepreneurs through “Print-n-Pack 2004” by exhibiting machineries, accessories and finished products and conducting seminars on various current topics in printing and packaging industries and enlighten the participants with latest technologies. Print-n-Pack 2004 – Printing & Packaging Fair being held for 5th time at Madurai on 8 – 12 December 2004, will be a platform for dissemination of the latest technology & new innovations in the Printing & Packaging Industries beneficial to a wide range of technologists and manufacturers. It will attract the attention of the sizeable and decision making visitors from all over India. |
