To enter into Member Area, please go to Smenetwork's home page    and type your 'username' and 'password' and enter. A new home    page will appear similar to previous Home page but it will have two    links in the box on Right Hand Side : Member Area and Home    Page.

   Member Area:
   The Member Area contains edit fields so that you could change/    update the information at your home page. The page has the    following sections:

   i. Edit Business Information: Here changes can be made in the      following fields:
     > Name of the Contact Person
     > Address
     > Telephone and Fax numbers
     > Email address
     > Web site information
     > Punch Line (About us)/ Company Information

Note : [If you are a new member, you need to write about your company in 240 characters including spaces. E.g. "XYZ company is the largest manufacturers of abc products in India. It is ISO 9000 certified company and is exporting these products since 1960. It is committed to competitive pricing of its products, quality standards and quick response". The statement contains 239 characters. ]

     To change/ updation, kindly click 'update'.

   ii. Change Password- allows you to change your password you       had chosen earlier.

  iii. Upload Company logo: You could upload your company logo       from here. Kindly get your logo scanned and save it in your       computer. On clicking 'upload' a window will opened. Follow the       instructions; it is quite similar to attaching files to e-mails. Click       upload.

     If you are yet to become computer friendly, kindly seek assistance      in uploading logo or send photograph/ artwork to us.

  iv. Edit Industrial Information- Allows to update information on       products and process standards, Bank and bank related       Information , Turnover and No of employees.

  v. Edit Products- (1,2,3,4,5) SMEnetwork allows to put 5      products/services on the company home page. In Edit Section you      can change your product name, their category and also upload the      photos. Only two photos are allowed .

     To upload photos, kindly click on edit product (1 or 2). Kindly      spot a link which says 'upload product photos' on top of the page      and click it. You can upload the photos one each for first two      products. The photos have to be scanned and saved on your      computer. Kindly follow the instruction as appear. For Products      3,4,5 their information can be added without photos.

    'Home Page' shows how your home page will look like to other      people. So after changing/ updating the information you could      check.

     Please remember to click 'refresh' the after change/ updation if you      want to see the changes in the same session.
