| The RAJKOT ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION (REA) Is an organization of the various Engineering Industries situated In Rajkot. It was founded In the Pro-independence Era In 1943 under the name and style of Rajkot Manufacturers'''' Association. Rajkot Manufacturers Association and Rajkot Industrial Organization (which was constituted later to take care of the Interests of manufacturers other than Foundries) were merged In the year 1963 and renamed as Rajkot Engineering Association with a membership of about 100 units.It Is Incorporated under Bombay Non-Trading Corporation Act, 1959 and Association Is considered to be one of the largest Engineering Association In Gujarat with a membership of 968 unites 99% of which are small scale Industries. |
