The
Registration would take a few minutes. Kindly follow the following
simple steps:

1. Please log-on to internet and type http://www.smenetwork.net.
The home page of SMEnetwork will open.
You will see a small box on Right
Hand Side of the site "log into SMEnetwork" Kindly click
on "sign me up".
The registration page will open with
three fields to be filled. Username,
Password and retype Password.
i. Username should ideally be the name of
your company or its abbreviation,
at the same time easy to remember and not very long
( why? Because your e-mail ID as well as your home page address
will be the same as 'user name')
e.g. if your company name is
Rabbel International Ltd. you could choose
rabbel or ril or rabbelintl etc. If does not match with any existing
entry in database, the proposed name will be accepted by
the system else you are to retry with new name.
ii. Password should ideally be a combination
of letters + numbers which
is not very big, is easy to recall and not easily guessed by strangers.
e.g you could choose initials
of your name and the date of birth as, vks1956
or car number vks5612 or your lucky number vks999
etc.
iii. Retype password to ensure that you have typed
the password that you
wanted to write! To avoid the typograhical error.
iv. Your registering as member of the SMEnetwork also
entails agreeing to an
agreement containing standard Terms and Conditions.
Kindly click on 'agreement' to see the details in the new
page and go through it.

2
The Next Page is about the details of the company.
There are two types of entries - one marked by
'red star' and second without star. The one with
stars are the compulsory entries. That means without filling
these, you will not be able to complete registration. These entries,
as filled in, will also show up in your web-page.

Fields where there is sign, are 'drop down menus.
When you click on the fields more than one entries
will appear. Move your cursor on the most appropriate
entry and click once. It will be automatically
selected e.g in the first field, once you click it will show
four entries : Trader, Consultant, Manufacturer & Service Providers.
You move the cursor and click on Consultant. Now, it will
automatically pick up Consultant and shall design the format accordingly.

If you do not have an e-mail account you could have free email through
SMEnetwork. Please write username@smenwtwork.net
e.g. if you had chosen 'rabbel' as
your username your e-mail would be
rabbel@smenetwork.net . Kindly use small letters.

The third Page asks for information on products
or services. Here again some fields are marked
red starred meaning 'compulsory'. Please fill
them with care. Most of the data would be shown on your
web page.

click : Submit.

Finally, "Thanks for Registration" page
would appear with details of types of membership
. You may choose either of three. The details of
the benefits of each category are also explained at the page. Kindly
Choose one.
Please
send the payment Rs. 6000 or Rs. 500 as the case may be through
D/D or local cheque of Delhi with copy of membership certificate
from your association.
The
moment we receive your payment and the copy of membership certificate,
we shall approve the membership in the SMEnetwork.
Once
the membership is 'approved' by SMEnetwork, the 'user name'
and 'password' selected by you, become operational. (you will
be informed of this through letter as well as through e-mail). Now,
you could enter into Members' Area and use all value added
services as well as could edit your home page as you wish.
