| The Aims and objectives are: 1.To promote the small scale industries in Sivaganga District. 2.To take all steps to protect and promote the general interest of the persons engaged in small industries in the Sivaganga district. 3.To create and encourage a fellow feeling and cooperation among the manufacturers and consumers in the small industries in Sivaganga district and to evolve a common policy on all subjects involving their common interest. 4.To consider and formulatye opinions upon all matters connected with the small industries in Sivaganga District. 5.To collect, classify and circulate statistics and other information relating to commercial interests in general and small industries particular. 6.To promote beneficial and other measures relating to the small industries and thus obtained by all acknowledged means the redress so far as possible of grievances of the industrialists in small industries. 7.To communicate with and make representations to authorities and Chamber of Commerce and other mercantile and public associations through out the world and concert and promote measures for the protection and furtherance of the small industries and the common good of the persons engaged therein. 8.To maintain a library of books and publications and literature on small industries so as to diffuse commercial information and knowledge amongst the members of the association. 9.To acquire by purchase, gift, lease or otherwise lands and buildings and properties, movable and immovable which the association may from time to time think proper to acquire for the purposes of the association. 10.To accept gifts, donations, benefactions from societies, companies, organisations, Govt. and individuals. 11.To organise or conduct such services for the benefit of the association and its servants and employees as the association may require from time to time to receive donations there for. 12.To subscribe to become a member of and to co-operate with any other organisations whether incorporated or not, whose objects are wholly or partly identical with or similar to those of the association as may be likely to further the objects of the association. 13.To carry on all the objects mentioned above and also every other act and thing that may be required for the purpo0se of propagating and developing scientific and technical materials in the shape of books, periodicals, journals, circular, letters etc and any such thing as may be found necessary for the fulfillment of the objects heretofore written. 14.To produce, print, publish, circulate and distribute at reasonable price such literary, scientific and technical materials in the shape of books, periodicals, journals, circular, letters etc and any such things as may be found necessary for the fulfillment of the objects heretofore written. 15.To conduct and organize competitions and to give prizes and testimonials to winners from time to time in the field of small industries. 16.To make representations for and on behalf of the members of the association to Govt. and public bodies etc. 17.To render assistance to members in legal matters, import and export policies and advice members in labor problems, trade marks, patent rights etc. 18.To research and to render all such technical aids and assistance as may be required by the members of the association as far as possible. 19.And to do all such other acts and things which may be conducive to do for the preservation, furtherance and expansion of small-scale industries in Sivaganga District or incidental to the above objects or any of them. 20.The income and property of the association however derived shall be applied solely towards promotion of the objects of the association as set forth in the Memorandum of Association and no portion there of shall be paid , transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividend or bonus or otherwise as profit to the persons who at any time are or have been members of the association or to any of them or to any person claiming through or under any of them. |
