What
do we mean by Trade Leads?
Trade leads is a tool which allows a member to post his offers
to buy and sell goods and services and also allows him to
view other members' offers. It is restricted to members only.
Trade Leads helps find and develop new business opportunities.
It allows all members to view Offers posted by other members
for both- buying and selling products and services. A member
can also post his offers and see the replies against his posted
offer.
Features:
· SMEnetwork is the only portal to have a tie
up with World Trade Point Federation or
WTPFED which means access to trade inquiries
(both buy and sell) from over 100 countries.
· Post offers to buy/sell depending on the needs
· Receive instant alerts of reply in your Messenger
box (Messenger flashes in case of a new
message)
· View all the replies against your offers and
respond back
· View all posted offers from all the members
and non-members
How
Does Trade Lead Work ?
1. One has to Sign in SMEnetwork with given username
and password.
There are two ways
i) Sign in from the main page and then go
to trade leads
ii) Click on Trade leads on top and sign
in.
2. Once you are signed in a page appears like this:

Explanation:
1.
On top of the page is the search bar where one can search for all
the posted offers for buy/sell for last 15/30/45/60 days. This
bar appears at all the pages.
2. Post New Offer-
A member can post his new offers for buy/sell by clicking on the
respective. A form opens in which one is required
to fill the product/service name and details.
3. My Account- This
is the personal account of a member. Here the member can view his
offers, which have been posted, by him/her
and also the replies against his offers if there are any. Format
is same for buy/sell and explaining one would explain both.
Clicking on
Offers Posted to Buy opens a page, which has a table:

The Table shows that there have been 2 buy offers posted and for one there
are 2 replies and for the other there is none.
2) To view the replies click on Reply-2 and
one can see all the replies and contact the member.
3) In case a person has to edit the posted
offer click Edit and make changes.
4) To delete first Click on the delete box
a tick mark sign will appear and then press delete. For deleting all the
messages click on Check
All and then Clear All.

4.View All Leads-
In this section all the offers posted by all the members and
non-members can be viewed.
Important:
(1) Even non- members can post trade leads
from the main page but cannot view the trade leads.
(2) In case the non-members post the
trade leads one can contact them only by their email addresses.
(3) Members can be contacted by all
the methods- letters, e-mails, messenger, phone, fax etc as one can view
the homepages
which has all the details.
Again
for both buy and sell the format is same and explaining one would explain
both.

This example explains
all types of buy offers which can be posted on SMEnetwork:
1. [TR] AUTO FULL ENGINE REQUIREMENT- This type is from the WTPFED
system explained above.
[TR] stands for Turkey and different
code would appear for posting from different countries. Clicking on the Product
would show the details of the product. If
interested one should reply on the emails given in the product detail
and not to the administrator
2. Battery- This means that the offer is from a SMEnetwork member
called kanohar who needs a battery.
3. Furniture-This as explained above is from a non member as one
can only see the email id of the person-abc@yahoo.com and no
other contact details are available.
4. Computer- This offer is posted by the member itself and so does
not have post your reply field.
How to reply against the posted offers?
One can post replies in two ways:
1.Either click on Post your reply as shown in the above table.
2.Click on the Product to see the detail and below the detail there
is a link for post replies.
Important:
As explained above there are many different types
of offers, which can be posted on SMEnetwork. So, Post your Reply
works differently.
1.WTPFED- When the offer is from WTPFED then reply
to the email mentioned in the product details.
2.Member- In case of an offer from a member then
when we click on Post your reply a form opens from which the reply
is sent to the messenger service of
the member. As the member would log in the messenger icon would flash
alerting him of new message.
3.Non-Member- In case a non-member posts his reply,
then clicking on Post your Reply, Outlook Express of the member would
open from where one can post reply and send it to the non member.
How to use Trade
Leads effectively?
Here are a few tips for using Trade Leads section more effectively:
1. Always search for the product/service. It saves a
lot of time as all relevant offers are shown at one place
2. Generally make it a rule to Reply on the email id
of the person, as emails are checked regularly. This case is applicable
only for members as for the
other two emails can be only sent.
3. While posting offers be precise and write product
details in clear language.
4. Always be quick to reply.
5. Visit trade leads regularly and check for new offers.
Even one trade offer in an year can generate revenues for the year.
